Claw Money is collaborating with Sunglass Hut.
The legendary graffiti artist hasnât produced the whole collection just yet, but sheâs designed one style thatâll be distributed at next weekâs Social Sun launch party.
Social Sun is their new interactive way of shopping for glasses that allows customers to virtually try on as many styles as they want, blast them to friends via Facebook, texts, emails and even in-store TV screens, before deciding which ones they want to buy.
Cory Kennedyâs hosting the party/Sean Paul concert at the Herald Square flagship next week so if you see a bunch of Jeremy Scott bedecked hipsters in the most unlikely of neighborhoods, youâll know whatâs going on.

Tracy Feith For Target Launched Today
Another weekend, another Target collaboration to celebrate.Who made the oriental-print scoop-neck dress First Lady Michelle Obama wore to the prayer service the morning after?
The answer: surfer-turned-designer Tracy Feith. Today marks the launch of the Tracy Feith for Target collection, available in stores and online
. Feith’s retro prints and surfer sensibilities are in full effect, expect mostly sweet summer dresses and skirts. For Spring, Feith is offering up a sweet collection filled with vintage-inspired bikinis, dresses, and tops. I like the mixture of ’60s flower power prints, ruffles, and mod shift dresses. To add some toughness, Feith embellished with large zippers, and even supplied us with some slick faux leather jackets.

Michelle Obama’s Style Is Literary
The Daily Front Row and The Fashion Mini â my favorite reads at New York Fashion Week â are singing Michelle Obama’s fashion praises. They’ve released a special 116-page collector’s issue dubbed Michelle Obama: 100 Days of Style ($7.49, includes shipping and handling), now also available at major bookstores and newsstands. It celebrates the first lady’s first three months in the White House, from the inaugural ball to her trip through Europe. The issue also goes behind the scenes with her favorite designers. I love it â President Obama got praise for his first 100 days in office, and Michelle is being applauded not only for her philanthropy but also for her stellar style. Such a power couple!

UNIQLO NABS MISS DEYN
First Jil Sander, now Agyness Deyn. The Tokyo-based fashion chain, which earlier this year hired Sander to design a collection, has tapped Deyn to be the face of the brandâs high summer sports campaign, which will break today in Japan and June 1 in the U.S. and the U.K. âAgyness reflects a fresh, youthful and vibrant side of life, which was perfect for the campaign,â said Amy Howarth, head of press and marketing at Uniqlo in the U.K. The ads, shot in New York by photographer Dan Jackson and styled by Nicola Formichetti, show Deyn jumping around in Uniqloâs signature brightly colored ensembles, such as pink denim shorts paired with a pink hoodie; and a royal blue T-shirt dress and matching baker boy cap. The hip, city-dwelling Deyn is in the campaign alongside Gabriel Aubry, who also happens to be Halle Berryâs boyfriend.
Howarth declined to give details of the campaignâs budget. The ads will run in select magazines and newspapers in the U.K. and U.S., and as a poster campaign in London Underground stations through to June 28. (source)

Trend Alert: Funky Coloured Harem Pants
If wearing harem pants wasn’t proving difficult enough, there’s a whole new challenge on the horizon! This Summer harem pants are brighter than ever as fashion takes a leaf out of MC Hammer’s book.
I have a black pair of this season’s trousers and find them to be incredibly comfortable. They are also easier to wear than you might think, especially on warm days. The really bright colored styles are obviously the most daring as they are sure to make you the center of attention, but a blue or pale pair would be perfect for relaxed days.
I would team them with gladiator sandals and a strappy or tight fitting top. It’s important to balance out the volume to avoid hiding your shape under billowing fabric!

Make Peace Not War in These Ammo-tastic Accessories
We’re not fighters (more like lovers), but when given the chance to play rough, we’re willing to go the distance. Doing a bit of the dirty work for us are these artillery inspired accessories. Comprised of bullet casings and heavy metal, each piece gives a new meaning to the phrase “dressed to kill.” Don’t blame us if you spend a night in the slammer while flashing one of these baubles. Just make sure to ask the officer for his digits and let him know you’re packing.

Forever 21 keeps churning out those collections. First it launched plus-size line Faith 21, and now it’s on to Love 21, its first-ever contemporary collection. This means we’ll be seeing a more sophisticated side of the fast fashion retailer. Don’t worry, prices will remain affordable. Mark your calendars for May 19, when the line drops at select stores and online.

Kate Moss For Topshop Remembers Studio 54 With Leopard Prints, Sequins, and Minis For Summer
It’s no secret that Kate Moss herself is the reason why her TopShop collection sells so well, and her latest summer offerings for the British-come-stateside chain continues to prove it. Who else but the supermodel could pull off a floor-length, gold-and-black-striped maxi like it were a hallowed relic from the halls of Studio 54, when it would undoubtedly look like a Beyonce fashion faux-paus on us normal folk? Or that sequined silver jacket with slinky little mini! Kate tops everything off with loads of Freedom for Topshop jewelry, cat eyes, and bold red lips. Will this inspire you to brave the tweens and sensory overload of the Broadway store to pick at the goods when it arrives on May 21st? (Source)

Philip Lim Unleashes a Triple Threat
Amidst troubling economic times, Phillip Lim is staying positive about his business. While some designers are struggling to meet numbers, Phillip Lim’s team is predicting a 15 percent increase of sales this year, giving credit to Lim’s smartly priced, edgy designs. Next on tap for the budding designer? Adding three new lines to his brand: footwear, lingerie, and swim. Right now,â said Lim, âitâs not about sitting back and letting things happen. Itâs about taking a step forward and pushing the envelope.”
Limâs swim collection, debuting this Summer, will consist of three styles â two maillots and a bikini made in floral prints retailing at $175. âWe brought a girly, playful element to it,â said Lim. His lingerie line, named 3.1 Phillip Lim Initials, evokes the same femininity and will range from $65 to $175. The official launch of his lingerie line is Spring ‘10, but fans can nab them early at his boutique starting May 20. For shoes, Lim focused on creating practical designs. âEveryoneâs making crazy shoes,â said Lim, âso we were like, âLetâs do working shoes, but sophisticated and beautiful.â”Lim’s footwear collection, ranging from $290 to $675, will debut in the Fall.

On Our Radar: Estelle to Launch Shoe Line?
Estelle is often spotted on the red carpet showing off some killer heels. Who can forget her Alaias or her or silver booties at the Grammys? Recently she hinted at plans to extend her shoe habit further suggesting that she might want to create an accessories of her own. She told WWD, “I love accessories, and Iâd love to have my own line.”
She was talking at the Belvedere Pop-Up Shop launch last week where she revealed her first foray in to design. There she was presenting a line of accessories created with Belvedere Vodka with a little help from Jonathan Kelsey. This included the Belvie bag (pictured, $1400) with a secret pocket for holding vodka! Would you be interested in an accessories line by Estelle?

Back in March, rumors swirled that Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto was set to become EstĂ©e Lauderâs next spokesmodel. However, since then another cosmetics giantâLâOrĂ©al Parisâhas staked a claim on the rising starlet. Just yesterday, the brand announced that the beautiful Pinto will follow in the footsteps of fellow actress Elizabeth Banks as a LâOrĂ©al Paris spokesmodel. âI am very moved to be joining the great LâOrĂ©al Paris family and all these personalities, a family I am now proud to be a part of,â says Pinto in the official company press release.
